PRIVACY ACT 2020 – ACKNOWLEDGEMENT AND AUTHORISATION:

You authorise KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED to send this application and any information you supply to us to any third party (the Finance Company) and agree that either KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED or the Finance Company may do the following:

KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED/the Finance Company is asking for personal information about you to obtain an Equifax or Centrix or another credit report to assess your credit, and that Equifax or Centrix or another agency will give us personal information about you.
KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED/the Finance Company will access your personal information from the Motor Vehicle Register, specifically and only for purposes that pertain to our business. Customers have the option to opt-out of having their information disclosed in the Motor Vehicle Register by contacting NZTA/Waka Kotahi directly.
KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED will give your personal information to Equifax or Centrix or another agency when we use their consumer credit reporting services and they will hold that information and use it to provide their credit reporting service.
You understand that we may use Equifax's or Centrix credit reporting services in the future for purposes related to the provision of credit to me. This may include use of Equifax or Centrix’s monitoring services to include updates if information about you changes.
You understand that when other Equifax or Centrix customers use the credit reporting service, Equifax or Centrix may give that information to them. Details of how Equifax or Centrix handles your information can be found here –

Equifax or Centrix will collect your credit information for the purpose of providing credit reporting services to Equifax or Centrix and other subscribers to Equifax or Centrix consumer credit reporting services, and Equifax or Centrix will use and disclose your credit information in accordance with the Equifax or Centrix Privacy Statement.
We may use Equifax or Centrix credit reporting services in the future for purposes related to the provision of credit to me. This may include use of Equifax or Centrix's monitoring services to include updates if information about you changes. You have the rights of access to, and correction of your credit information and any other personal information held by Equifax or Centrix as set out in the Equifax or Centrix Privacy Statement.
If you default in your payment obligations to the Finance Company, information about that default may be given to Equifax or Centrix or another agency and they may give that information about your default to other Equifax customers.

Pursuant to the Privacy Act 2020, I authorise KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED or the Finance Company to contact Equifax Limited, Centrix Limited, Credit Providers, Finance Companies, my Employer, Landlord, Accountant, Bank, Solicitor or any other source including Government agencies, to obtain, check and exchange (both now and in subsequent applications) the protection and administration of any loan arising out of this application (both now and in the future) and to assist in the enforcement of any agreement between me and KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED or the Finance Company.

I understand I have the right to know who is collecting and holding information and the right to have access to it and correct it if it is wrong. I/We agree that my information may be used by KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED and shared with the Finance Company for the purpose of marketing its products and services.

I/We agree that KIWI CAR LOANS LIMITED and its related entities may communicate with me/us via mail, email, or telephone (including SMS/MMS) for all purposes and understand that there may be security risks relating to the electronic transmission of information, and that KIWI CAR LOANS cannot guarantee confidentiality.
